The Sky Beneath Your Feet

24 × 36 | Acrylic on Canvas

Sometimes wonder asks us to look up. Sometimes, it is waiting beneath our feet.

A rain-filled puddle becomes a window to another world, holding autumn trees, glowing sky, drifting leaves and circles spreading across its surface. What might ordinarily be stepped around—or passed without a second thought—becomes an invitation to stop and look again.

The Sky Beneath Your Feet is a reminder that beauty doesn't always announce itself. Sometimes it appears in the overlooked and ordinary: a fallen leaf, a passing reflection, the brief disturbance of a raindrop.

We only have to notice.
