Almost home. The slow part of the drive. As I creep along the curve, I pause momentarily to take I see all the beauty  on the side of the road. The view out the passenger window was spectacular. I'm so grateful that the last leg of my drive home is that long, slow, and curvy road. This stretch gives me a few minutes to slow down my own speed - the speed of my thoughts, the speed of my busyness, the speed of my reactions. But here, on this road, I have the opportunity to pause. I rolled down the windows to better see the scenery. I took a big deep breath and exhaled all my cares away. I was almost home.
