Sky of Fire was inspired by the devastating wildfires that swept through forests several years ago. Rather than capturing the chaos of the flames, I found myself drawn to the quiet that follows—the lingering glow, the reflections on still water, and the resilience that remains after destruction.
 
To me, this painting speaks of more than fire. It is about hope in the aftermath, the strength to endure, and the reminder that even when life changes us, beauty can still emerge from the ashes.
