From the Storm, I Create explores the intersection of inner turbulence and creative emergence—the ways in which physical pain, emotional overwhelm, and life’s storms can become the very ground from which something new begins.
 
At the top of the composition, a storm gathers—lightning fractures the sky as a funnel forms, dense with motion and intensity. Yet within it, a steady hand holds a paintbrush. The storm is not resisted or silenced, but entered into. Creation happens not outside of the chaos, but within it.
 
Below, the structure of the mind begins to shift. What was once contained takes on movement, softening into wave-like forms that suggest both emotional release and transformation. The imagery is rooted in a scan of the artist’s own brain, a clinical foundation reimagined into something expressive and alive.
 
This piece reflects a lived tension: the experience of navigating both physical and internal storms while discovering that these very places can give rise to renewed purpose. The act of painting becomes more than expression—it becomes participation. A quiet form of co-creation, where something sacred begins to take shape within what once felt overwhelming.
