Painted in 2019, this earlier work captures something that continues to appear throughout Jennifer Scott's landscapes today: an attraction to bold color, reflected light, and those fleeting moments in nature that make us stop and look a little longer.
 
There is energy in the brushwork, yet stillness in the scene—a celebration of autumn at its most vibrant, just before the season begins to change again.
